Sullivan's is an old-style, family run grocery, bakery and delicatessen established by mother Elizabeth Folgen and son Sianaíl Sullivan in the summer of 2016.
Today, the Sullivan team is a wild & wonderful bunch of individuals and together we work to serve our community, our natural landscape & heritage, and our many weekenders and visitors.
We are passionate about good food and about the environment, and we strive to ensure that what we do well, is also good for Nature.
When you visit us, you can expect to find:
- A wide range of artisan baking from our Bakehouse in the back:
Sourdoughs, traditional sodas, yeast breads and a wide range of cakes and pastries. And, there's almost always something for those who are wheat and dairy intolerant. We bake with regenerative flours, local organic eggs, pure Irish butter and fresh & seasonal fruits.
- Seasonal (Irish & European) fruit and veg, and as much local and organically grown as is available at any particular time.
- Local specialities such as eggs, honey, jams, chutneys, juices & granola.
- Seriously good coffee to go - we pour Fixx Classic. Please bring your travelling cup!
- A deli counter serving our salads, sourdough sandwiches, and warm foods such as vegetable soup, sausage rolls and focaccia slices.
- An interesting & varied wine selection.
- A sustainable homeware section - a room full of local and exotic surprises, forever changing but almost always handmade by small producers.
Please note that our daily menu does vary, and certain foods come out at certain times - please email us or give us a call if you wish to know what and when on a particular day you are passing.
Gift Cards
We have gift cards available in store at the till. If you wish, we can post one out to you or directly to the recipient - or they can collect in store. Simply email us or give us a call so we can process the order directly with you.
Seating
We are unfortunately not a sit down establishment, but we do have some casual tables, chairs and throws outside on dry days where you can enjoy your take away coffee and bakery treats.
